Kansas State University – India Office
India Office as a representative of KSU have managed to promote the university
through various activities such as advertisements in the leading newspaper,
personalized seminars at the associate site, have reached a mass of students
all over through active participation in Expos(Exhibitions). In the previous
year we have participated in various cities like Hyderabad, Ahmedabad,
Nagpur, Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Chandhigarh, and Kolkata. Through this
we were able to create a market place for the university and could generate
a good lot of database, which in return are followed up by the team members
of India Office.
Focusing and to promote the university to the Undergraduate stream India
Office has sponsored various events in association with “Association
of the Advancement of the Deprived – AAD (NGO)”. It has targeted
the High School (IX,X,&XI,XII), students and teachers and organized
Speech Competitions, Debate Competition, PowerPoint Presentations, Painting
Competitions, Quiz programs etc.
Growth of Kansas State University – India Office
India Office incepted in the year 2008, was inaugurated by Mr. JACK W.
LINDQUIST President of Kansas Agricultural And Rural Leadership Inc.(KARL).
Kansas Agriculture and Rural Leadership Program made 2 visits in India
during July 2008 and March 2009.
We would like to put forward that it is 14 months since we have been
associated with Kansas State University (USA), and through our hard work
of our well qualified staff and under the Directorship of Mr. Raj Kapoor
and strong guidance of Mr. Subhash Kapoor India office has been able to
create a strong network of nearly 70 associates all over India, Nepal
and Sri Lanka. We represent more than 150 cities.
Seminars and Presentations are frequently conducted in schools, colleges
and in various universities in India by India Office Director and KS University
delegates.
“It has become obvious that all these factors will continue
to render
great impact on all aspects for the growth of the business and its
leading economic contributions”.

in its total of Rhodes, Marshall, Truman, Goldwater, and Udall scholars
since 1986. Our students have won more than $2 million in those five competitions
and have earned K-State a place among the nation’s elite universities.

History
K-State got its start in 1858, when Bluemont Central College
was founded and 53 students enrolled. Five years later K-State became
the first college in America to be officially designated a land-grant
school. By 2008 K-State’s enrollment had grown to more than 23,520.
